Ben Cristovao — music video shot by drone
Filming the music video for Ben Cristovao with the large Inspire 2 Pro drone. FPV-style action shots inside the hall.
We were invited to this project with the large Inspire 2 Pro drone and our task was to shoot action footage — almost in FPV drone style. The filming took place inside a hall and it was quite a challenge.
We started with a fly-in on Ben, who was standing on an elevated platform. Lights off, camera, drone, clapperboard and go. Everything started flashing and we were flying around as directed — left, right, up, down. Coordination between the pilot and camera operator was at maximum level, and after 5 full takes of the clip we already knew a few words from the new song.
After reviewing the drone footage with the director from Championship music, the mission was accomplished — and you can see below what it looks like when our cinema drone takes on such a complex mission.
The video was created in collaboration with Komerční banka as part of the O CO2 JDE campaign.
The music video "Sending You Love" follows up on the Sustainable Sessions. From a sustainability perspective, it's exceptional because it can be called carbon neutral. The CO2 emissions produced during filming were offset by the creative team through supporting a tree-planting project in the Czech Republic.
