LEGISLATION & SAFETY
Legislation and Safety
In the open category, drones may fly no higher than 120 m above ground.
Our pilot holds an A2 certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority (ÚCL) – with a C2-class drone we may fly as close as 30 m to uninvolved people (5 m in low-speed mode). We do not fly over assemblies of people in the open category.
Before every flight we check geographical zones in DroneMap; near airports and in controlled zones we arrange coordination.
We are a registered operator with the Civil Aviation Authority (ÚCL), operator no. CZEad67subegwqjg, and we fly with liability insurance (ČSOB Pojišťovna, limit CZK 1 million).
We only take off and land on private land with the owner's consent. National parks and some protected areas have nature-conservation restrictions – we arrange the administration's consent.
Have a specific location requirement? Contact us and we'll verify the options.
PRAGUE
Drone Filming in Prague
Prague has a number of zones where drone flights are subject to special rules – including the areas around Ruzyně, Kbely and Letňany airports and other controlled zones. Before every job we check the current zones in DroneMap and arrange the necessary coordination. We film in Prague and across the whole Czech Republic.
